Guest guest
Hi , No, we haven't tried carnosine, and as it is not readily available here in NZ as far as I know, it would probably be a bit of a mission getting hold of some. It is there hanging around on my 'one day' list though, as I have seen many posts about the benefits from it's use on here over the past couple of yrs. But like anything else that would be a new trial, it is not something I feel like I would want to add into the mix unless we saw some seizures return. I know it is not one that has any adverse (ie - seizure inducing) side effects like so many of the other supplements out there, but I am still v wary of trying anything 'new' right now. Guest guest
Okay chicken Don't blame you hon.....but if you ever get to the point where you are feeling braver....not available here in Canada either, a few hoops to go through but not too bad. If you check out iherb.com and check out their shipping info they will tell you whats involved for each country. Guest guest
Just saw this as I was going over my too-full inbox, deleting. I'm afraid, we did see a lot of partial seizing with Rohan - 'off-the-planet' behaviour. Tried it again this year when he was off the KGD and gave up. But, Rohan always has had unusal reactions to things. When we first tried it a couple of years ago heard from one other mum who'd seen increased partial sz too. I'm trying to think of her name. I know her daughter had osteoporosis like Rohan and that she has been on the diet for a long time - that's all I remember for the moment. BTW we ordered over the internet from NOW brand and had no problems getting it.
