Guest guest
, Oh I know. The thing is that Patty is deaf in her left and she's getting the infections in that ear too without the aid. That's the struggle. If the infection were only in her right all the time I'm sure I'd have a better handle on things and would jump right to the BAHA. I know it will work for her. I KNOW IT! The last infection was the worse she's ever had. What to do, what to do, what to do. Guest guest
Bonnie, Hope Patty's ear infections subside after the surgery. I wish her a quick recovery Thanks for for all the info about ear infections, BAHA. Ellen and all, thanks for sharing the info. whats confusing with my daughter too is with Bone conduction test, she was within normal range. So the audiologist diagonised conductive hearing loss and recelty acc to MRI/CT, found out that she has " deficient apical turns of the cochlea. " So sensorineural loss. Also also ENT seems to think that it will be progressive. But dont know when and how. ?? again confusion. her hearing aids were also not adjusted after MRI, may be because she has mild to moderate and they still not sure what she does not hear properly. Ellen , let me know how your ENT visit goes. Thanks all. Rita > > the decisions never end... > > > > > > , > > > > Oh I know.
