Hi, I am fairly new here and I do not recall ever posting

before......but I remember reading about the prozac lotion and my

initial thought was pretty goofy. However, it probablly can be made.

My son (3yr.) needed something to help him sleep because we were not

surviving on the sleep we were getting. The problem (with getting him

to take meds) was almost like you would experience with your Jenna. I

asked his Doc about a liquid and she said it could be done at one of

two compounding pharmacies in town (I think I am starting to master

the fine art of liquid meds and no gag). She called the one closer to

our residence and they could not make what we need, she called the

other and they said they could. The pharmacy suggested a lotion form

they could make instead. They said their lotion compounds they make

are so much easier for the kiddos and parents.

So, to make a long story short......check into a pharmacy that makes

compound prescriptions.

Good luck,

Dawn

My oldest is able to tell me which meds make him feel better, but my

youngest can't, or isn't aware of it. You might try offering her rubdowns

or massages at other times too. If she resists, then it might give you an

answer. If she likes the rubbing, it may be sensory and something you want

to do more often for her anyway.
