Get copies of all tests and procedures done on you. Hospital

records should have documented swallowing problems. My nurse

noticed when I gulped down 4 glasses of water. The surgical report

should mention if laryngeal nerve was bothered.

If at times you can't breathe, thats time for ER. That's serious.

Do you know your TSH at this time ? If a person is real hypo,

breathng is effected.

Even though your thyroid was removed without cancer, thyroid tissue

left behind can grow and I have to wonder if its interfering with

the size of you throat pipe.

Go bug another doc and get another opinion. Your having endo's look

at it ?

Imaging is a good way to go. See if anyting is squeezing the larynx.
