Guest guest
Hi I'm new to the group and wanted to ask a question....I have all the classic symptoms of hyPOthyroidism, and I just have a thyroid test done. My TSH came back normal, but in the low normal range, and my FREE T4 came back slightly low. My FREE T3 I'm still waiting on. My doctor doesn't think that my FREE T4 is low enough to do anything about it, regardless of how miserable I feel. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgis last year too. Now if my FREE T3 comes back low, then what? Do you think the doctor should do something about my FREE T4 being low now? even without the T3 not back yet? only because of all my symptoms and everything? If you were the doctor, would you be concerned about the T4? And if your T3 came back low too, would you do anything? I feel just because the TSH was in the normal range, does not mean my thyroid is NOT under active....Can't a person have hypothroidism even though the TSH is in the normal? PLEASE someone HELP me....Thanks
