Guest guest Posted February 2, 2006 Report Share Posted February 2, 2006 JOB POSTING Position: Full-Time Paramedic (11 Positions) Location: Austin, Texas Reports to: Field Supervisors, Director of Operations Status: Non-Exempt Posted: 02/02/2006 Deadline: 02/25/2006 PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Paramedic works within a team in the delivery of quality care for emergency and non-emergency patients according to protocol and standards of care. Ensures consistent and proficient utilization of medical and communications equipment; maintains a positive, professional relationship with field personnel, administrative staff, and associated law enforcement agencies, fire, and medical personnel; demonstrates a positive leadership role. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Ÿ Minimum 21, years of age to operate vehicles Ÿ Current Valid Texas Driver's License Ÿ Acceptable Driving Record Ÿ EMT-P Certification, Licensed Paramedic Ÿ Current certifications (CPR, ACLS) Ÿ Current PALS, PHTLS, or BLTS preferred Applications will be accepted up to the beginning of process.
