I feel I have adrenal fatigue, My last tsh was 4.89 I'm told thats

normal. But I don't feel normal. What do you take to boost the adrenal

glands and is it safe to take with thyroid meds. I take levothyroxine.

I would appreicate any advice that anyone has. I feel so tired and

drained.

Thanks

First... your TSH is way too high.. current top end of the range is 3.0, has been for a couple of years now... anything over 2.0 is cause for further testing to find out what is wrong.... once on meds it should be under 1.0...

Your adrenals could very well be fatigued if your body is still struggling with a TSH that high!

Could you fill us in on your diagnosis, reason for being hypo and on replacement hormone..?

What is your current dosage of Levothyroxine? How long have you been on it?

Do you have copies of your last labs, with ranges, so we can see if they are checking your thyroid hormones, too... or if they are only checking TSH.... ?

If your adrenals are fatigued, the WORST thing to do is to boost, or stimulate them... what you do is add small amounts of adrenal hormone to supplement that adrenal glands and give them an opportunity to rest and recover from their ordeal. It's perfectly okay to use adrenal support while on replacement thyroid hormone, in fact it's on the insert with your pills that the adrenals should be checked before starting thyroid replacement.. but most docs are too stupid to do it, or lazy, or don't care... or ????

Okay... 'Cat Car Mat'?? care to fill us in on THAT story??? hehehehehe
