Guest guest
Hi is, Amelie had a mic-key button in at 5 months old, its fab never had a days trouble, I changed them from the beginning easy peazy although only lasts a month, because her reflux drug omeprazole was a tablet dispersed in water, and the gritty bits kept popping the ballon inside. when she had the jejunum type of mic-key the same cosmetically identical just a much longer internal tube to reach the jejunum this needed to be done under barium xray, and they cant afford to keep popping these as I can no longer replace them myself, so they dissolve the omeprazole with bicarbonate sodium the chemist came up with this and it seems to be working a treat. the attachments are simple and we replace these fortnightly with a new one, and just sterilise them inbetween. Although is bolus fed not continuos like Amelie so this will be even simpler for you. good luck Lesley x
