Guest guest
Hello, I just wanted to chime in for a minute. My daughter is in a starband and because her first fitting it was a bit bigger. room to grow. Her band rubbed on her right cheek. The OT put a small " pad " in it and it has worked great! The " Pad " just looks like a little of the foam. But what ever it is It is working. You might want to call and see if they can do the same for you. This way it stops rubbing. Good luck. I can see that the tears make it worse but I have to say, this baby rarely cries!! I will continue the cortisone cream and there was another suggestion of lubriderm before putting it on for the night (letting it dry). His next appt. is in nearly 3 weeks and I hate to make him wait that long, but its far away and I just started a new job...I will see how it goes if I give him maybe more breaks. Whats happening now is that the skin is taking on an almost " leathery " texture while still red - not that thrilled about it. > thanks for your help! > v > > " Carol G.
