It has been a busy week for us but I think things are moving along now. I have been sick with a fever for a few days that they cant figure out and just feel like crap (sorry:) but have been on antibiotics so hopefully that will go away. As of now, I am having my port put in monday and will begin chemo on Tuesday. I am getting the Oxyplatin, 5 fu and avastin. I am so ready to begin this and get it over with. I am ready to beat this!! and glad to know thats a possibility. When we thought it was pancreatic cancer I knew things were not good, but I am very optimistic now. Has anyone had any success with special diets of added treatments (in addition to chemo) such as holistic medicine? Just looking at all the options.
