Do you know the name/brand? So do you have electrical wiring right

above his bed? Our home is about 15 years old so I'm not sure what

to do.

I'll have to check the name of the brand...we live in military

housing and I had our housing buy this one for us.The one we have is

a great model because it actually just plugs into the wall, but also

has a battery back-up. So we just ran the cord up behind his bed and

mounted it to his ceiling above the bed.Now, we had a very simliar

alarm in CT but I do believe it was a different manufacturer and

that one had to be wired into the ceiling there. Those places were

built in the 50's so I'm sure your place would accomadate a model

like that also.I'll check further on the brand and get back to you :)
