Is there a " Student Services " department at your Univeristy? I am positive

that most Universities have this type of department and they should be able to

help you get the accommodations that you need for your classes. I'm sure typed

copies of class notes is not an unusual request for students with visual

impairments. I would try looking for Student Services dept or another

counsellor (maybe your academic advisor even) to ask about accommodations...
