Guest guest
I am sorry to hear that it was cancelled. Just remember that the anestesiologist was right in what he did. The complications of having something in their stomach is just too much of a risk! I even know one Mom that lied about the child having something to eat in the morning before a tonsilectomy. No complications during surgery, thank goodness but let's just say that the surgery staff was a little displeased when they constantly had to clean up the kids because they were majorly sick to their stomach. Sorry that you have to wait now but it will happen. And the good news is that you won't make the same mistake again. surgery cancelled Hi, Today was supposed to have CI surgery. Anestesiologist cancelled it, because my husband gave a small piece of donut( fingernail size) on the way to the hospital. What a stupid mistake. It was not in my control, my husband is very stubborn. I'm very sad, angry and feel shame before our doctor and all team. It could be so easely prevented. Surgery is resceduled for October 18th, tomorrow we'll find out for sure. 5 additional weeks will be without sound. How wonderful fo speech development!!! Excelent parenting.
