Guest guest
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is , I just turned 30. Early last year I was dx hypothyroid. And nothing has been the same since. I am on synthroid now but it doesn't seem be be working like it was. I turned 30 on November 17th, 2005 and the very next day my 13 month old daughter was dx with cancer. From that point on the synthroid has not worked right. Just wondered if it was the stress of everything. I can't sleep again. And I need sleep. Any ideas? My throat has also started to feel like it's chocking me again. I can't see the DRD I was seeing because she was only aaffiliated with my work. And I had to quit my job to care for my daughter so no money to see another DR yet. Just wondered if anybody else had some ideas. B
Guest guest
Hi , welcome.... You aren't having a very good time... sorry to hear that.... Do you have copies of your labs that you can post for us to see, with the lab's ranges? That will give us a better idea as to what is going on.... What dose of Synthroid are you on now.? How long have you been on it? When were your last labs? Stress can have an affect on your hormone levels... and depending on what is causing you to be hypo and if they got your meds up high enough.... along with some other factors.. the stress could definitely knock you for a loop..... There are some things that you can do that might help with that... but first lets see what your numbers look like, what they've been testing and your dosage adjustments since the thyroid stuff started. Your daughter.... what type of cancer? Topper () Dayton, Minnesota On Wed, 11 Jan 2006 19:15:25 -0000 "" writes: Just wanted to introduce myself.
