Guest guest
Hi Friends... I just wanted to share my good news with you all. I just found out that my scan came back, well, for the most part, " clean " . There was some uptake in my neck, but the endo is not worried at this point because he feels that it was just my salivary glands. My Tg came back at 0. He says that hopefully my next scan should be better with no uptake. He will not see me again until June and he will check my levels then. I couldn't think when I had him on the phone, but I had some questions I wanted to ask, but I think he was a bit annoyed because I have been calling everyday since Wednesday of last week. I was also told that all my results and reports would be to them by Tuesday. I guess I should not have been so pushy, huh? I wanted to ask him why am I so tired? Especially when I didn't go hypo for my scan, used Thyrogen. I think this concerns me because I have heard many of you say that the Thyrogen scans are not as accurate as going hypo and with this being my first scan other than a week after my RAI, that there was uptake in my neck and he says he is not too concerned about it at this point. I guess I'm just a bit worried that the scan was not accurate. I guess I just overly paranoid right now, I don't know? Well, I must get going. Have lots to do and I'm having trouble staying awake now. Talk with you all soon!! Hugs to all, land Caringind@... *WBS and Tg bloodwork February 14th--uptake in neck, but Tg 0 *Pathology report for biopsy that was done on my knee...benign!! *Thyroid Ultrasound (June 01) 6 nodules found; 3 on right and 3 on left *Uptake Scan (end June 01) nodules found to be solid *FNB (October 01) suspicious for cancer *TT (Dec 01) papillary cancer, spreading to lymph nodes in neck and muscle *155 mCi RAI (Jan 02) *Levoxyl-175mcg (Mon.-Friday); 200 mcg (Sat. & Sun.)
