Good afternoon everyone,

This doctor makes the following statement during PE,

ANA 6 nerve palsy in the left eye.

She says this quite clearly but I haven't heard this term before. Does

anyone know what the ANA stands for? Could I be hearing it wrong?

Thank you for your help.

Ok, color me curious and confused.. How does one get cranial nerve 11 (XI) out

of s/l ANA 6?? Or was that a typo and it should be cranial nerve 6 (VI)????

Inquiring minds want to know :)

I listened again and heard cranial nerve 6, then listened again and again heard

ANA 6 - LOL!! It's a 30 minute dictation and I'm still working on it so I'll go

back and listen again later.
