Guest guest
Did you have RAI to kill off remaining thyroid tissue left after the TT? My understanding is that thy tissue left behind can grow. Got to wonder if that's happened. I may be wrong though. The reference may have been that thyca can regrow. Especially you having been kept so hypo, signals from pituitary go to it and it grows, as I understand. The can't breathe, was doc implying it's hyperventilation, like when you need to breathe into a bag to calm down and get the breathing back to normal ? Did he have an explanation for not breathing other than saying it's not thyroid related ? jane > > Hi Jane, > The doctor called it Abductor spasm of the Larynx.I didn't have cancer of > the Thyroid just a huge Thyroid.I haven't had it imaged yet but will get it > done soon.He just stuck that tube down my nose and had a look. Was really > frustrated cause he said it was due to stress didn't want to hear about the > TT.The worst problem is that at times I can't breath and he's trying to tell > me it's in my head. > > Kim
