Guest guest
Topper, especially, since you've been walking me through this, but anyone else who knows too.... How much more adrenal do I take when I'm under stress? How do I know? How does stress affect thyroid hormone...seems like I remember the body might need more in times of stress? How soon can you tell the difference that you need it? Does it take the 6 weeks as usual for the body to feel the difference? Talk about a major stress in life...my husband just got word that we're moving to Iwakuni, Japan for 3 years! Exciting, but terribly stressful since we have to be there the first of July, so not much time to get things done, get the cat vaccinated and prepared so she won't have to endure quarantine hopefully, get myself ready....*panic* So, how much should I increase the adrenal meds to compensate? Is there any way to know, or do I just go by how I feel? Just when I was starting to feel better, now this, but I'm almost used to the chaos of this type thing by now, it's just sudden and unexpected. The move in itself is a major upheaval, but the culture shock and time difference between calling family and friends, and not having the stores I'm used to in order to buy everyday things. Wow. This is unreal. It's going to be neat to go...see new places, experience it, and it's not like it will be forever, just 3 years though in ways that seems forever but it goes fast each place we've lived. Will give me time to get my Master's degree while I'm there if nothing else, hoping they have the wi-fi internet access up and running by the time we get there. I gotta finish my current calculus class (ok, gotta start on it and get it done, correction there) and then I'll have my BS degree, was hoping to start work after that, but apparnetly that's not in the works for me at this time. -- (stewlis)ville, NC, USA
