Would be interesting to know what the results are because the symptoms you've listed above are *also* symptoms of Cushings Syndrome, particularly the moon face. One of the other complications of Cushings is calcinosis cutis, which is crusty " sores " on the skin, the hair thinning, and coming off in patches because of the calcium which becomes abnormally trapped in the skin. Calcinosis cutis is diagnosed by punch biopsy - they take a little core of skin layers and examine them - very different to a scraping biopsy, which may not show this up. Docs don't like it when you go to them saying " I think I've got X " , so do all your reading and see if you fit the pattern for this problem before jumping ahead, that way you can be very firm if a doc tries to put you off investigating this further.
