Guest guest
I need assistance. My godmother, who has been in ill health for quite some time, died. The viewing is this afternoon and funeral tomorrow. My mother is quite shaken by this, she just went on and on about it on the phone a little bit ago. We had last seen her a couple of years ago when my dad had surgery at one hospital, my godmother was in the hospital across the street so instead of sitting around doing nothing, mom and I went over to visit my godmother. We were always going to go see her. We tried to locate her -- we would find her, but by the time we were able to go see her she would no longer be at that facility. Mom had just talked over Christmas about really making an effort to go see her with me. I think mom is feeling somewhat guilty about the whole thing. I, too, of course am saddened but this course of events and probably will go to both. It was only in the paper today, so might have missed it -- which we did when her husband died a few years ago. Well, better get busy now. Need to get ready and then do some work, as well. On an up note -- when you get a chance go see Chicago. It is absolutely fabulous. I am sure Quixote and the rest of the male population will enjoy the costumes, but I loved the music, etc. Gai
Guest guest
Gai, My prayers are with you and your family. Having just been through all of the problems with my dad and getting ongoing prayers from this group, I can tell you that you will have people all over the world sending up prayers for you. The outpouring from this group has been simply tremendous. I haven't had time to respond to everyone individually, but please know that all of your prayers have made a difference. I am sure that you will feel the same Gai. We will all be praying and thinking about you as you go through this difficult time. Margaret >>> " Gailyn " 01/09/03 01:31PM >>> I need assistance.
