I need assistance. My godmother, who has been in ill health for quite some

time, died. The viewing is this afternoon and funeral tomorrow.

My mother is quite shaken by this, she just went on and on about it on the phone

a little bit ago. We had last seen her a couple of years ago when my dad had

surgery at one hospital, my godmother was in the hospital across the street so

instead of sitting around doing nothing, mom and I went over to visit my

godmother. We were always going to go see her. We tried to locate her -- we

would find her, but by the time we were able to go see her she would no longer

be at that facility. Mom had just talked over Christmas about really making an

effort to go see her with me. I think mom is feeling somewhat guilty about the

whole thing. I, too, of course am saddened but this course of events and

probably will go to both.

It was only in the paper today, so might have missed it -- which we did when her

husband died a few years ago.

Well, better get busy now. Need to get ready and then do some work, as well.

On an up note -- when you get a chance go see Chicago. It is absolutely

fabulous. I am sure Quixote and the rest of the male population will enjoy the

costumes, but I loved the music, etc.
