We use the same supplement(CaMg Zn III from Wholelife).Yes, Matt definitely

has hair loss and hair thinning, is this all down to the zinc.

He has been on the supplement for about 3mths,

It is not unexpected on the diet. The diet is seriously lacking in

vitamins and minerals. You likely have an inadequate supplement. We use

Wholelife in California, the Cal-Mag-Zinc III which has vitamins and

minerals.

Zinc is important. Have you noticed any hair thinning or loss?

Maybe increase his dosage by 50 percent? Is he on 1 tablespoon a day(15

cc)? Is he spitting it out behind your back? Are you on a high keto

ratio? I think zinc is important for healthy hair, but it also is

important for absorbing vitamins and perhaps other things.

Nicola,

That sounds like twice the ordinary amount already. Maybe there is a

problem with absorbtion or excretion or with measuring it. You may have

a more complex situation. Are you taking any other medications? Perhaps

they interfere with absorbtion. Are you giving it with anything else?

Nicola,

I don't think that the fish oil would affect it. I don't know anything

about the affects of the epilim. Others may be able to help you.
