Beth,

If my tsh is not in the correct range for my body, my heart becomes irregular

instantly. As soon as I feel a bunch of PVC's, I run and get my tsh tested.

It will be either too low or too high. I have been dealing with this for

about 16 years now and have learned what my body is telling me. I have also

learned slightly hyper can feel exactly the same as slightly hypo. Too many

times I thought I was hypo when I turned out to be hyper. The hair usually

falls out when the body is adjusting to a tsh level change. Kim

Hi Beth,

Yep. I'm in that stage now. We've lowered my Levoxyl yet again. Symptoms (sx)

can be the same as hypO. Tired, hair thinning, lack concentration. I had heart

irregularities which prompted me to seek a higher TSH (lower dose) when I came

up from <0.001 to <0.01. This is still too low for me and lower than need be for

adequate thyca suppression which is <0.10.

Jittery, heart palpitations (this is probably the first sign for most

folks), rapid heart beat - the signs of hyperthyroid are the low TSH

signs. From personal experience and what I've seen here on the list,

the heart stuff usually is the first big sign.
