Guest guest
Emma- They DO ALLOW coolers in. We went in March (our 3rd trip with Keto diet). We used a lunch bag sized cooler with the refreezable ice packs. They do have you open the bag to see everything but there was no problem. We took Savanna's KetoKool-aid frozen in her water bottle and it thawed as she drank it. We carried everything in her backpack (that mom carried) I would suggest taking along a letter from your doctor explaining (briefly) the need for the diet. I would also get the special assistance pass (unless Make-a-wish is doing that) You can use the Fast-pass lines without having to actually get the fast-pass. Definately helps the kids who are dev. -delayed that have problems standing in lines for any length of time. We have never had any of the chefs make the meals-I guess I'ld be worried about the numbers-unless you bring a scale along to the restaurant. We kept the scale at the condo and just made as many of the meals similar to what we were going to be eating. Any other questions--feel free to contact me on or off-list kathy/WI

Guest guest
I just wanted to agree that they DO allow coolers with no questions asked. They will search them like any other bag, but they don't care what you bring in as far as food goes. I brought in all of Sev's food and food and snacks for my other kids. We also brought in our own water...it's $2.50 a bottle in the park. In our case, we had to have a stroller and Sev's chair, so we just loaded it up. The first aide stations even have microwaves they will let you use to warm up any meal that needs heating. The restaurants are glad to give you an extra plate in the fast food restaurants, or to present your child's food on a plate with the other meals in a sit down type restaurant. The Make a Wish staff will know all of this as well...they are AMAZING. I've known several families that took wish trips within the last year and they have nothing but praise for this organization. You guys will have an AMAZING time! Nan
