Guest guest
Topper, Yes he doesn't know. I guess I should tell him. I go back in 2 weeks on Feb 2nd more for the high blood pressure thing but he mentioned something about blood work. So I will tell him about thyroids - s I guess. I know my hear rate was low 49. I have to go back though on that date because he only gave me enough samples of blood pressure meds until then. Or I could just stick to the Armour only and tell him I dont want a bllod test for 4-6 weeks and see where it goes. I was starting to feel sluggish again on the thyroid - s and now on the Armour I feel ok. I self medicated and bought the thyroid-s from Thialand. Guest guest
You might be one that doesn't handle the fillers in the Thyroid-S.. Hmmmm thinking out loud..... Okay... how does this sound.. you have to go in for labs for the BP in two weeks... how about just letting him order the whatever... get a look at the sheet, keep your ears open, ask... if they are doing the thyroid levels now or in a month... see what happens... He might want you back that soon for the BP... if that's still a problem You could mention that you were on something else... that it wasn't working so well..... or just let it ride.... You don't want to tick him off... but he still needs to have an idea what is going one.... BP is affected by thyroid hormone levels too.. that actually should come down as your thyroid hormones stabilize. You're heart rate was really low..... lets consider things.... When you were on the Thyroid-S (T-S) were you doing anything to help conversion? Might it be that you're not a good converter and that made you feel more sluggish? Remind me... did you take them all at once.... ? I think you said some morning, some evening.... How often do you eat... small frequent meals help keep energy levels in the blood up, promoting more efficient conversion... Ponder on that... see what comes to mind.... Maybe play dumb and tell him you were unaware that thyroid S was Armour and thought it was just a herb supplement?? I would ask for blood work now before the change or stay on Thyroid S until the blood work, but if you want to come clean I am sure the doc would never let you drop your dose by that much..at least nto willingly. You really need a Free T3 and a Free T4 test done.. It maybe the fillers in Thyroid S or you could be over medicated..you are taking 5 grains a day.. so 1 grain for a day or two probabley feels good..1 grain down from 5 grains over a period of 2 weeks or 4-6 weeks to wait for blood tests could be disaster which is going to leave you back to square 1 or actually further behind with messed up bloodwork.. My thoughts are to come clean, play stupid or what ever it takes to save face and get on the proper track as soon as possible.
