If your brother were much younger I would definately say that it would be

easier to help him with this but because he is a teenager now its really going

to

be difficult to goad him into doing what he doesnt want to do.

Believe me when I say I understand about depression being a possible

underlying cause and maybe once he gets that under control (is he taking

medication

for it?) he will be more inclined to face his weight but for now as hard at is

it I really think the best thing you can do for him is set the best example you

can and be there to support his when he is ready to make some changes. You

are a good sister for thinking of his health and well being!!
