Well, that explains the confusion!

Clearly, Alisa, you don't have my natural flair for multi lingualism ;-)

.... from what I can tell, the Spanish word " ganglio " refers to both " gland " and

" ganglion "

And for those who don't know the English word, " ganglion " is the singular of the

plural " ganglia " . According to Merriam-Webster ...

1. a small cystic tumor connected either with a joint membrane of tendon sheath

2. A mass of nerve tissue containing nerve cells external to the brain or spinal

cord

I'm familiar with the word because I've had friends with ganglian cyst on their

wrist, but I never realized that it could be translated in two ways from the

Spanish.

Translating Rodrigo's mets to his ganglia as mets to his lymph nodes makes MUCH

more sense. Or at least, it brings it into the realm of something I can

understand.
