I haven't seen this subject addressed on this web site before:

I have been fib free for 105 days now, and my cardio said I could go

off of the coumadin, and back on the aspirin. (at my request) Has

anyone done this before, and are there any side effects, to the

blood, other then it not being as thin, when one has taken coumadin

for 6 or 7 months and then stopped? I am happy not to take it any

longer, as I was running out of places to have them take my blood for

the monthly blood tests. My veins are not the best, and they had to

resort to my hand which left a huge bruise mark.

Anyone experiencing going off of coumadin?
