I had the same score, . And, supposedly doc has tested my adrenals and all came back okay.

My biggest symptom has always been fatigue, still is. And, when I exercise, it just wears me out. One time

I trained with a trainer for 3 months, and after each session, I would need to come home and go to bed.

Now, when I walk, it exhausts me too. I would love to have this in type written form, etc, to be able to show the test and the test results to the doc.

Adrenal care is as tough as thyroid care.... with thyroid they can under treat you for hypo for the rest of your life and make you totally and completely miserable... but not kill you.. so if it's not life threatening... why care.....?

With adrenals... if they do it wrong, they can kill you.... and if they don't do anything at all.... by the time you are dead and they do the autopsy the damage to the adrenals is so severe, you died, and it was unfixable...

Now don't everybody go running out their front doors waving their arms and screaming that they are dying.... it's not something that happens just like that.... for most of us with adrenal fatigue it that our bodies can't work right and we're plagued with all these symptoms and it's gonna take a LONG time to get it soo messed up that it's a hazard.

The point is that if they would learn how to do it.. the support and care, I mean... do it right and the glands are able to recover from the over worked fatigued state and can function normally again.... it's not like the thyroid.. where when the gland is damaged it can recover to a point and then can't... if you catch the adrenal fatigue and support them the correct way... they get all better and you feel better.

Now... explain to me... how stupid me, only a high school education, can figure this stuff out on my own (well, online, reading, talking to others and figuring it all out and how it affected me) found the product online and took care of it on my own.... and they, with all their education, and tests and supposed intelligence... run the other way screaming that it's all in your mind and not fixable anyway????

How come checking adrenal function is said, right on the package inserts for thyroid hormone, to be done BEFORE starting thyroid hormone replacement.... yet the docs won't do it?

Maybe it's cuz I'm just a stupid female... but I sure don't get it....

February marks the third anniversary of when I started my adrenal replacement for the second time.... I took too much the first time and crashed by the end of the month... took two months off and then started up again..... I did it, I got my adrenals functioning properly again. Proper sleep cycles, able to handle everyday stress, able to watch Little House without crying.... I was off for two months before we lost .. that stressed me and I chose to start up with the smallest dose for a week, to get me through that first hard part.... and now I'm off again.....

Is it a placebo? I tend to think not... but, just for the sake of argument, lets say that it is..... what harm is there in taking a placebo if it allows your body the time it needs to heal a part of itself that is unable to function properly?

.... the fact is it's not a placebo...if it were I wouldn't have crashed (for those that are new..... I was taking too much at first and it had such an immediate and profound affect on me that I was over doing things, physical stuff, that my poor worn out body wasn't strong enough to handle.... I started falling down, couldn't peel potatoes or apples... just got all cramped up..... I had felt sooo good for that month that I wore my body out to muscle failure. I stopped for two months to allow my body to heal... then started at a lower dose)

I'll have to do some thinking and see if I can remember that other site that gave the adrenal test... it was all on one page... you got to do a printout... Might be able to do some googling and find it again...

My two biggest symptoms were messed up sleep and inability to handle stress... I cried at the drop of a hat... couldn't handle anything... And the sleep thing... exhausted but laid awake half the night... If I got woke up after a couple of hours of sleep, I'd be awake the rest of the night.... If I woke up for a potty run, I just stayed up, I wouldn't be going back to sleep. When I did go to bed, I pretty much counted on spending at least the first two hours laying there, in the dark, staring at the ceiling.... Now...? quiet house... I roll over right after MLD and bedxercise and conk right out.... Noisy house... I'm out as soon as the TVs are turned off and I hear the bathroom door slammed for the second time.. then I'm gone.... heheehhehehehe Potty run, tap the kidneys.. back in bed and asleep right away... the way it's supposed to be....
