Guest guest
Hello, and how is everyone out there in computer land? I just came back from my endo. appointment It was your standard - exam of the thyroid no longer in existance, blood check, etc. Thankfully, I love my endo. He wants to see where my levels are, and he'll get back to me, as usual. He mentioned that in my very soon future he sees a scan being done. It'll be my first ! (Should I be this excited??) Anyhow, he mentioned that sometimes he uses a shot given in 2 doses (which I have assumed to be Thyrogen), or sometimes the use of Cytomel. He seems a little too perky when talking about the Thyrogen shot, and that he has had much success with it, leading me to believe that may be what he plans for me. From anyone who has had them, I have to ask, do they hurt??I assume the shot only takes a few seconds. I didn't want to seem like a 4 yr old asking him if they hurt, but I know I can ask all of you out there across the world and beyond absolutely anything! - (who is obviously back to her 'ole chipper, yippity self) 5-02 FNA 6-02 Core Biopsy Dx pap cancer 7-10-02 TT 7-29-02 RAI 156 mCi Current .175 Synthroid TSH to be announced early next week!
