hours. How long can you have it heated for, 30 or more? Is it

better the longer it ferments? "

Yes, you are really supposed to heat the milk to 180, just as the

website says to.

The yogurt should be fermented for 24 hours. After 30 hours, the

bacteria begin to die off and the yogurt is actually less potent

than it was at 24 hours. So, don't ferment it for longer than 30

hours.
