Test Name Result Flags Reference Range Units ------------------------------------------------------------------- Thyroid Stim Hormone 1.28 0.34 - 4.82 uIu/ML FREE T4 0.50 L 0.59 - 1.17 ng/dL Like I said, I'm still waiting for the FREE T3....So what do you think so far? I am in the same boat your in I am not being treated either cause they tell me it is not bad enough for that and I personally feel like crap most of the time to tired to do things. I also have ankoosing spondalytis.Which if your wondering is about the same as arthritis except that is likely to leave me in a wheel chair eventually.I supposedly am suppose to start treatment of some kind on my back this month on the 23rd .This I know does not help the thyroid business. I just want you to know the ladies here are very very informed and knowledgable. and I understand where your coming from. I know there are just somedays I say what's the use , but then my son comes to check on mom and I say oh yeah that what it is all about . I am still waiting on Grandbabies....lol .I wish he would find a nice girl and settle down and have me some soon but hey i will take them anyway I can get them married or not.I even take donations ( THAT'S A HINT FOR ANYONE WANTING TO SELL KIDS FOR A WHILE)>>>>LMBO. Have they tested thyroid antibodies? Guest guest Posted January 10, 2006 Report Share Posted January 10, 2006 Wow - those are funky without any thyroid meds.. I would get the antibodies tested for sure. Also, if your t3 is low, no question - you need meds... Do you do body temps in the AM? If so and they are lowish, I would say you have a good case for a trial run of Armour. You are going to have a hard time getting meds from a " conventional " doc with those levels.. I would do some legwork and find a D.O. or a doc that is into intergative care. Good luck in your journey! My levels were so-so, too and docs thought I was an idiot for complaining - 6 months later I was full blown and had to undo all the extra damage that had been done in the six months untreated.. By that time, I was having cardiac issues, problems staying awake (I was rxd high-dose stimulants), way too low bp, emergency digestive problems. Yea, me.. Misty msl5858@...
