The instructions say to change them when they turn pink-or at least every 2

months-Ha ha. My 16 year-old son, very active in sports and a profuse

sweater, would go thru them every 5-7 days. We've had ours for 4-5

years--and our ha repairs have been almost nil since we got it, before that

it was 2-3 times/year. Anyway, recently in conversations with people that

sold the bricks over the internet (and in reading info on the internet)

several sites 'suggested' that, as well as the dry n store/bricks work, the

'pink' was not quite as reliable and should always work for at least a

month. We decided to try that and have been changing them on the 1st of the

month for just a couple months--it seems to be working ok, but don't know if

that's long enough to really say yes, once a month is fine.
