Breast cancer is such a different beast than lung cancer, it's taking me some time to adjust my thinking. My sister only had 7 months between diagnosis to when she passed away - I guess lung cancer grows faster. So it really could be that (my mother-in-law) might not be as bad off as I assumed. I told my husband what you all said, and I could tell he was very relieved. We just watched my sister decline SO FAST, I guess we thought breast cancer would be the same.
