Well I'm down 1 pound bringing me to 175. I'm happy about it but I

am so bloated and gassy and burpy today for the second day in a row.

What's up with that?

Way to go with the pound! You are at your short term goal!! Whoo

hoo! Don't know what to tell you about the intestinal mess, have

you eaten a new food that maybe is not agreeing with you?

Actually I am 10 pounds away from my first goal of 165. I loved

myself at 168 about 5 years ago and I was really toned and just loved

how I looked. I would like to go to 165 and then re-assess. I might

need to go to 155 to get rid of this flab on my back and on my tummy.

I think i figured out the bloating. I bought some sugar free candies

sweetened with sorbitol. A friend comes to my desk and says " oh I

have to be careful with those, they make me so bloated and gassy " .

GET OUT. I never knew that.

Sorry, I misread your lines, lol! I am sure you can get to your

goal, you are doing so well! Glad to hear you may have found the

reason behind the bloating problem.

I get that way. It's the veggies, drinking water too fast sometimes, acidic

food, running around right after I eat. Many veggies and beans produce lots of

stomach gas.

A diabetic co-worker recently mentioned that he has this problem with a lot

of artifical sweeteners. I myself have never had a problem with them (thank

goodness, because fake sugar is a godsend for me! LOL) but I have heard a

lot of people with this complaint in the past.

you know what else? splenda gives me a headache. I seem okay with

aspartame, but the rest I seem to have trouble metabolizing. I guess

it's better to just avoid then.
