Hi ,

Thanks for answering of my email. I no long have any lingering symptoms HYPO or HYPER. But due to years of mis-treatment by using T4 meds only, I felt a body chill almost all the time. However, ever since I started on ARMOUR ( now ERFA ), I have been feeling better. But occasionally when the weather is really cold my body chill comes back. May be with the help of ISOCORT, my Adrenal can be better supported and help my body to absorb the T3 better and further minimize my body chill.

Have a happy New Year.

Thanks.

Luen

Hi Luen! Actually if you have no noticeable hypo symotms I would tend ot leave well enough alone. No lingering symptoms?-- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV

Ok so you DO still have hypo symptoms.. That chill you speak of is a

symptom. What are your basal body temps? If they are low you do need to

correct the low T3 and high RT3 issue as things will get worse again.

I am a little confused on your recommendation.

I am currently taking 187.5 mg/day of ERFA ( one and a half 125mg tablets). This dosage provides me 25.5 mcg T3 and 109.5 mcg T4. Raising T3 by 12.5 mcg implies a significant raise of ERFA ( 91.91 mg ).

Why does raising ERFA lower temperature ?

Luen

Re: RT3 Ratio

I would add in a bit of T3 but certainly not much. Raising ERFA will raise your RT3 and that will make your temps do the opposite. Maybe 12.5mcg T3 woudl be all you need.-- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV

I am not suggesting a raise in ERFA but addingin JUST T3. Raising ERFA

will raise your T4 and that in turn will cause higher RT3 and with yours

already too high, it will bind mreo receptors and block T3 fom reachign

the cells. Thus raising JUST T3 will help reduce the RT3.
