Guest guest
Hi, Lesley. Thanks for your well wishes. I'm not presently taking milk thistle, although I look at it every time I'm in the store. That and Glucosomine. It's so hard to justify spending $20 on vitamins, when we can barely pay our bills and buy groceries. You know?? But, I'll say it again (and by the way, this has become my signature phrase): WHEN MY DISABILITY COMES IN............... LOL......Hubby and I laugh about this all the time, because no matter what it is that we need/want, I'll use this phrase. He just shakes his head and says, " you plan on doing alot with that disability, eh?? " . HA!! My lungs are really hurting as of late. I'm beginning to wonder if my cold has developed into phnemonia (sp?). However, when my GP listened to my lungs the other day, she said they sounded clear. I'll give it another day and if I'm feeling no better, I'll request that a chest xray be taken. Thanks and I hope you're feeling well today. Guest guest
Sorry your lungs are playing up. Could it be because you are tapering the pred? Breathing's pretty important so I'd definitely see about that x-ray if nothing else. Guest guest
Hi, Lesley. I'm actually breathing okay, however, my lungs literally HURT and I'm coughing up a ton of junk (I believe that's the actual medical term, eh?). LOL. I couldn't go w/ hubby this AM to see the Dr., as it's been snowing all night and still is, so the roads are terrible. No way I'm venturing out in that mess! So, it's spring/summer over there now, correct?? That's so neat. Dawn lesley prior wrote: > Sorry your lungs are playing up. Could it be because you are tapering the > pred? Guest guest
Thanks, Lesley. I know things can and will improve......just look at you! I remember not too long ago you were in the same boat as me and waiting patiently for your insurance $$. So, there is hope! Wow, you had a hot day yesterday!! Yikes. You know, it wasn't until just recently (about a year ago) that I found out your seasons are opposite of ours. Doesn't that show my ignorance?? LOL. Moving day is soon approaching for you, eh? You, hubby, and girls must be so excited to have your own home. The packing and moving is the tedious part, but you'll be happy once you're all settled in. How far is it away from where you live now?
Take care, Dawn lesley prior wrote: > Snow! Of course, almost Winter there. Yes, it is hotting up here and > yesterday was 33C, a bit hot for me as I sweat so easily these days. Guest guest
Thanks Lesley. YOu're such a sweetie. I know we won't be in such dire straits for much longer. We just have to be patient and wait things out. I am just so thrilled for you and your hubby. It's about time you have your own home again and you should be very proud!! By saying, " we move on Wednesday week " , does that mean this coming Wednesday?? I'm unfamiliar with that phrasing. Anyway, hope you settle in nicely and really enjoy your new 'digs'.
