Guest guest
Hi there, What ratio is on right now? Could be that lowering even more might help. Several kids on the group do best at very low ratios. Why don't you post some of his numbers and maybe something will jump out at someone. Guest guest
was on 3:1 but they just lowered it to 2.5:1.He just got on this new ratio ,so I'm hoping it will help.He just keeps going into super high ketosis. Also he looks really pale and awful like his blood sugar is very low. Guest guest
Linn, What level of lamictal is taking? Weans are very hard, but our neuro team says they are hard any time (beginning of the diet, or later, it doesn't matter.) So, going with that, I would perhaps start a slow wean for . He is doing so well seizure-wise, so on one hand you hate to change anything. But on the other hand, maybe it wouldn't hurt to start a wean. His emotional state may worsen during the wean; it was hourendous for us. But now that we are through, Ethan is a new child. Unfortuanately, his seizures are unchanged (except for a wonderful day on his first med-free day, Wednesday.) But I'm hoping these frequent seziures are withdrawal and will start lessening in frequency, soon.
