Guest guest
Chantelle- Think of school as a way to grow in the areas that you find interesting and compelling. You never know where that knowledge and those skills will take you. Even if there comes a time when the classroom isn't the best setting for you, there will still be places where you can use those skills and that knowledge. My teaching degree has served me well -- but I'm no longer a classroom teacher. Teaching was what I loved and was in my blood so I enjoyed my studies and did well. Now I use those skills to do other things. The actual jobs I am doing now are things that I was unaware of as a young adult and never would have planned or studied for. So follow the path that holds the most passion for you. You never know what lies far down the path, but you do know that it's a path you enjoy traveling.
