Yah well appearently i put way too much stuff in my lesson plans and expect

too much from the kids. I swear the lesson plans the teacher shows us, the

kids would do the work for ten minuts and be bored for the remaining 50

minuts of the lesson. Well i doubt im ever going to teach though. by the

time i finish im sure my vision and hearing and bone density will have

deteriorated so much that i cant work at all. Just my luck eh.

Sometimes i do wonder why i bother being in school at all.

Chantelle,

I am really behind in reading messages so pls excuse me if this topic

is being addressed , but I remember awhile ago on the list someone

mentioned putting a CHARGE book together...you have such an amazing

insight...not only regarding your own personal situation, but into so

many others with CHARGE (and life in general!), that this CHARGE book

may be a project you could really sink your teeth into! Just a

thought!

CHARGE kids, their parents and professionals are so lucky to have

young adults like you, Chip, Belinda, Patti, and others to

learn from. Thanks to you all!

hugs, Sharon

Chantelle-

Think of school as a way to grow in the areas that you find interesting and

compelling. You never know where that knowledge and those skills will take

you. Even if there comes a time when the classroom isn't the best setting

for you, there will still be places where you can use those skills and that

knowledge.

My teaching degree has served me well -- but I'm no longer a classroom

teacher. Teaching was what I loved and was in my blood so I enjoyed my

studies and did well. Now I use those skills to do other things. The

actual jobs I am doing now are things that I was unaware of as a young adult

and never would have planned or studied for.

So follow the path that holds the most passion for you. You never know what

lies far down the path, but you do know that it's a path you enjoy

traveling.
