Guest guest
You are severely hypothyroid, hands down. That MCH is the Mean Corpuscular Height, I THINK, to the best of my pitiful memory. Can't think, offhand, what it indicates, but it is a misshapen (red?) corpuscle. Looks like you have enogh RBCs, for now, but maybe heading t'wd the downside?? Your thyroid is making next to nothing of hormone. Guest guest
thanks . I feel better because I have no more steroids + other medication in my system totaling about 10-12 per day. The adrenal that I have been on has done me well and now that I am on Thyroid I think that the hypo should settle down. I am doing my best to steer clear of meds and heal with natural stuff. He wanted me on statins right away but I said that I would wait until the Thyroid has had a chance to bring down the cholesterol. This is a new one for me so any advice would be welcome. Guest guest
Do you know why your thyroid is hypo ? As topper says, and maybe has said already, hypothyroid is not a diagnosis, it's a symptom. jane > > thanks . Guest guest
No that has never been looked at. The naturopath-homeopath that I went to last year was thinking that as I was born (during WW2 with bombs falling all around) that my body had been under huge amounts of stress from then on, which may have been the culprit for it all. So that is the only one that came up with any kind of answer, but have suffered through about 50 yrs before it went obvious, infertility etc. Dawn in Canadarjane1955 wrote: Do you know why your thyroid is hypo ? Guest guest
But there is something to that MCH. Has he tested you for any type of anemia, particularly B12, Folic Acid, or maybe even iron? Re: new test results thanks .
