Louis,

Why am I the one being flamed? We were having a great discussion about treating

a HF exposure. Then this guy who refers to himself as flightmedic1 makes a

statement:

" but if you had a FLIGHT CREW a cental line would be placed and the patient

mght

survive "

He did not sign his post. Every flight medic that I know would not have made a

hit and run statement like that. I responded to his post. I was not attempting

to start a us vs them kerfuffle or degenerate the EMS profession.

I noticed that both you and Larry quoted me but failed to refer to any of my

previous posts which were an actual discussion of HF exposure.

I am not going to apologize for my post in response to flightmedic1. I do not

think I was out of line. I read the list frequently but make very few posts in

fear of being called stupid if I ask a dumb question or not answer something

entirely correct. I doubt if I will make any future posts on this list even if I

know an answer to someone's question. I like to think that I may contribute to a

discussion but I guess I am wrong.

Larry,

I love your word, kerfuffle. I have now used it in several conversations.

Oh well, so much for me not posting anymore. My fingers will just not stay away

from the keyboard.

Thanks guys.

Re: Why am I the one being flamed?

Kelley - I didn't quote anyone. I just mentioned the us vs. them. I knew that

flightmedic1 person was the instigator -I'm sorry I didn't mention that as was

trying to keep the playing field level. There was no intent to flame you, and if

I left that impression, I apologize.

I do like your using my word kerfuffle, tho... :)

Kelley,

You are right on. It was an attack and it was unnecessary. And I thought

your answer appropriate. Now Louis. Go back to your corner.

Thanks

Tom
