It's hard to say for sure. Neal has certain sounds that he can't stand with

his CI on... a blow dryer, vaccuum cleaner, etc. Also, if he has his implant

off at the beach, he will not put it back on until we are well away from the

ocean. He hates going from being deaf to hearing the sound of the ocean.
