Guest guest
The recipes you mention sound fine. I wouldn't eat too much spinach, though, especially in the last 4-5 days of the diet. Spinach can be goitrogneic (blocks the uptake of iodine). They are on the prevention magazine website www.prevention.com and are identified as " Recipes for Picture Perfect Wieght Loss " the ones that particularly got my attention are: Turkey Cutlets Milanese, Beef Stew with Winter Vegetables, Roasted Vegetable Quiche, and Gingered Lentil Soup. Of course any salt required in the recipes would have to be iodine free, but overall these recipes seem to comply with all the restrictions. If I have missed a forbidden ingredient in any of the recipes I listed above, somebody please educate me about the error. Some of the others recipes may also be adaptable. > > > > RT Thyrodectomy: Nov 28/02 > Dx: Hurthle Cell Papillary Carcinoma - Jan 8/03 > Pending: Completion Thyrodectomy (Apr 03) and subsequent RIA > > ---------------------------------
