Guest guest
Hi everyone, I just joined the group and and after reading many messages, my heart aches for all of you, especially those who have had a much worse experience than I did. I should have joined sooner, your support is heart warming and I could have used it. I had a lumpectomy on 7/8/05, 1.8 cm, followed by CMF chemo just completed 12/29/05. Starting radiation this week for 33 sessions. If anyone of you who work, how did you get through the days and be cognitive and have energy? Before my second chemo I collapsed at work with fatigue and went on short term disability. Just started long term disability, per doctor recomendation, and just found out per phone conversation with my boss that I don't have my job to go back to and have to pay my health insurance through COBRA (you know how expensive that is). I feel like I'm being discriminated against. I am 59 and single and have no one to depend on. Thank you for any experiences you might share with me.
