Guest guest
I have no experience with g-tube feedings, but I do have a child who has an allergy (not on the keto diet) and he has TONS of thick mucous and does alot of gagging and vomitting when he gets milk/dairy. Is it possible that she is getting too much at once? Have you tried giving smaller feeds more often during the day? Can you change the type of formula? Does she get ketocal or RCF (think those are the two I have read about) Is there some other way of giving her foods? Maybe making your own 'formula' in the right ratio and seeing how she does with that? Sorry I am not much help. Hope you get things figured out soon Jenn mom to Mike - 3 yrs on keto diet and finally MED FREE! (just in time for his 7th b-day) << My question is regarding the possibility of Hannah being allergic to the keto diet formula she gets via her g-tube.>>
Guest guest
Dawn- As RCF is a soy-based formula, I'm wondering if that might be the culprit as a possible allergen. Has she had and/or tolerated soy products in the past? Tracey
