Guest guest Posted October 28, 2004 Report Share Posted October 28, 2004 Hi everyone, a little history: I'm 34, had 4 m/c all around 6-7 weeks, last pregnancy I heard a heartbeat then next us nothing. I had a septum removed 9/8/04 and scar tissue. the Dr who did the surgery said my tubes were fine and uterus looks normal. I also have the MTHFR a & c gene which I'm taking B6, B12, 4 folic acid, baby asprin, and prenatal vitamins. Dilema: My RE still suggests we do IVF, during consultation he was vaige when my Dh asked was this our only option. he said No but he wanted to do IVF to avoid scar tissue and tubes etc. If we were to get pregnant on our own the success is lower. I've been to so many Dr's everything is starting to sound like a blur...cant remember anything. I went to a Peri today regarding the MTHFR gene and he " off the record " was curious why we needed to do IVF. I'm starting to question if we really need to do it or is it for the " money " . Question: Has anyone been told they needed IVF after a septum removal? and no other complications. Question: when is the first day of your cycle...mine started 3:pm today...would today or tomorrow be the first?
