Guest guest
We just use the initials " B.M " for bowel movement. So far, it's worked fine to use those initials. Maybe my 13 year olds (both deaf) can teach me some good old deaf slang! Tish need help with a sign > Ok I seem to have forgotten or I'm confused and I can't find the sign anywhere because probably no one wants to list it in their book or on-line, or there are so many words for it I'm not sure what it would be listed under. I need the ASL sign for poopy. I have learned wiggle fingers at my elbow, but someone told me that is actually a curse word for the " S " word and not the true sign for poop. I know dirty, and I am just confused can someone help me out? I'm trying to teach not only to pee in the toilet but also to go poop. > > >

Guest guest
I am not sure what my book is called, it's been a while since I looked at it because it got all ripped appart, my little one is a destructive little one. I'll check it out, I think it might be the joy of signing. He doesn't respond to the sign for t.v. so using initials is not really preferable. I'll check it out thanks. Guest guest
This is the one I know. Stick your right thumb up in a " thumb's up " position. Wrap your left hand around it. Pull your thumb out and down. Guest guest
Thanks. I have to laugh at that one though, hey it makes sense. I guess the one I thought I knew really was the " s " word. That is the ASL sign right? I don't remember if I specified which sign I was looking for. That will work though. Thanks again. Re: need help with a sign This is the one I know. Guest guest
Thank you everyone for your help. I'm going to try this, it does resemble what it stands for, thanks for all the suggestions as far as potty training goes as well. Re: need help with a sign That's it for our family too!
