Guest guest
Hi all, I haven't had time to keep up with all the posts lately, but would like to give a shout of support to Karima, Kriss, Kaye, Monika, Bert, Phil, Narice, Barry, Jane, Joe, Donna and Rick. I just caught up on my reading and would like to send <<<<<HUGS>>>>> to all of you. I am going to Cincinatti on Labor Day and having Liver resection the day after I get there. I have been a little confused lately...... I had a Triphasic Liver CT with oral and injectable contrast that showed the 3 liver masses stable it shows the paraortic lymph node and a new mesenteric lymph node. 2 days later I had an MRI with contrast of the abdomen and it showed no lymph nodes and no change. It says stable disease as effective with treatment. Has anyone heard of that one. My Oncologist is not worried and neither is the surgeon. Has anyone else had a triphasic scan and is it better than an MRI with contrast? I am having a PET scan next week just so they can see what lights up but I am a little worried. I want to be agressive and go for it all. I need to get this cancer out of me and I know I will have a long haul of chemo after surgery. It is all worth it when I look at my kids and see their smiling faces! Any feedback you have is greatly appreciated. Will try to log on before surgery and when I come home.
