But since her I haven't been able to have children so this surgery was a blessing in that way as well as making me a much healthier person. Dawn Good News Hi everyone...I just wanted to let everyone in on my great news. I went to see a high risk ob-gyn doctor today for a consult to make sure everything was going fine with my pregnancy. The doctor said everything was great and my blood work was all normal. I asked him if it was possible to hear a heartbeat now and he said not really since I was only 9 weeks pregnant but if I wanted he would do an ultrasound and I could see the heartbeat. I was sooo excited I said yes! Well the Tech started doing the ultrasound and I asked her if she saw the heartbeat...she said yes and to hold on and she would turn the screen around for me to see. She turned it around and pointed out the baby..then she pointed out the other baby...I AM HAVING TWINS!!!!!!!! I was just so excited I had to share with everyone. When I was pregant with my 2nd child I did go to a midwife and she was great but then we left Canada & moved to the US when I was 8 month pregnant & I couldn't find a midwife near us or in our ins plan so I ended up going with a female ob, whom I loved & she was very nice ... however there were instances in both pregnancies where I felt out of control by all the " rules " the doctors put in front of me so this time I " m trying a midwife again .. maybe 3rd time is the charm.
